I am actually curious as to where you are tapping into a 12v (5v?) power source for the fan. Perhaps you can update the post to include the solder points on the PCB?

Great job! Did you use the WRT310N and solder the fan power wires to where the power connects to the printed circuit board?

I have a belkin f5d7230-4 wireless router.It gets quite hot and from time to time and then it even switches itself off.I was wondering if there was a mod for this router?

I use port forwarding without issues. I don’t have any need for uPNP so I haven’t used that.

Were you able to us port forwarding and UPnP with DD-WRT?
